Qualifying: It's hot!!! We worked hard during free practice on the machine's set-up to get good performance but also durability over race distance. We head out for a series of 3 fast laps and take pole position ahead of the Christie brothers.
Sprint Race: An average start, we come out of the first corner 2nd behind the Christie brothers. The Finnish/British pairing is also right behind us. On lap 3 we take the lead in the circuit's second corner! We set a new lap record of 1'56'084 and win the race.
Gold Race: A better start than the day before, we keep first place! We manage to build a gap lap after lap in stifling heat. We have to find the right balance between speed and tyre wear over the race distance. We take the chequered flag 6 seconds ahead of our rivals.
A perfect weekend, with pole position, the lap record and two wins. We leave leading the provisional World Championship standings by 12 points.
