Qualifying: We take pole position by just a tenth ahead of our direct rivals (Schlosser/Schmidt #3).
Race 1: A great start, we set the pace from the very first lap!!! We string together fast laps and pull away from number 3. With a new lap record as a bonus, we cross the finish line as winners, no less than 4 seconds clear! That brings us to within just 2 points of the World Championship leaders.
Race 2: Same start as in the morning, but the Swiss-German team is right behind us... The title fight is well and truly on... It's impossible to build a gap: they pass us several times on the pit straight and in another part of the circuit, but we strike back immediately! The last lap is red hot, they keep trying to draw alongside right to the end. Last corner, then the finish line — and we win the second race by just 53 thousandths... The world championship title is ours after a race for the ages...
