Here we are for the 4th round of the World Championship in the Netherlands, at the Cathedral of Assen.
Qualifying: The first qualifying session took place in the wet. We set the 4th-fastest time. The second session was dry, with very close lap times. We will start 3rd, behind the Swiss and British crews.
Sprint Race: A very good start, we pass the Christie/Christie pairing in the first corner and the Schlosser/Schmidt crew in the next! We string together fast laps, still closely followed by sidecars number 3 and 34. We go on to win the race.
Gold Race: A decent start, we take second place just behind the Swiss crew. After 1 lap we run slightly wide at turn 6 and rejoin 4th, well behind the leaders!! Lap after lap we close in on the front to take the chequered flag in second place, just 95 thousandths behind... What a race!!!
