Free Practice: Arriving at the magnificent Spa circuit, a first for both Harry and me. Just as we're about to head out, the machine won't start, even though it had been warmed up 10 minutes earlier... The team rushes to find the problem: no fuel pressure! Everything gets checked, relays included... We manage to get out for just 1 lap of the 45-minute session.
Qualifying: Both qualifying sessions serve as practice, but we still manage to line up 6th on the grid.
Race 1: A good start, we're in the group fighting for the podium. Despite a lack of top speed, we keep pushing. Unfortunately we spin under braking for the chicane… We manage to rejoin and finish 7th.
Race 2: Same start as the day before, we're 3rd through the first corner. We're passed on the straight after Raidillon, and a battle follows with crews 29, 77 and 34. At half distance we arrive three abreast at the corner before the pit straight. There's contact with another competitor and we go off. We manage to rejoin in 12th place. We set about fighting back and finish 6th.
