Qualifying: After a few suspension changes we head out for a series of fast laps and set the fastest time, a 1'44'031.
Race 1: A good start, we arrive three abreast at the Dunlop chicane! But we manage to keep our pole position advantage. We string together fast, consistent laps. Two laps from the end the machine starts to lose power. Despite a 5-second lead over sidecar number 33, we lose the lead, but we still manage to hold on to second place.
Race 2: The rain arrives at the circuit! After just 2 laps the track is unraceable and race control shows the red flag. The race restarts 20 minutes later; we immediately set a fast pace and win the race by 16 seconds.
Race 3: This last race is also in the rain. Same start as in the morning: we keep first place and pull away from the opening laps! We get past the backmarkers without too much trouble and take the chequered flag in the lead for the second time.
