New electronics on the machine. After the problems at the start of the season, the team decided to change the machine's electronics! The quickshifter works, and so does the data logging.
Qualifying: After a series of fast laps, we take pole position ahead of the Reeves/Wilkes crew by just 0.08!!!
Race 1: A good start, we keep our advantage and stay in the lead! After a few laps the Reeves/Wilkes pairing attacks, but we stay on their tail. 4 laps from the end, sidecar number 6 passes us in a left-hander. There is contact and we go off the track. We manage to fight back and finish 5th.
Race 2: Same start as the day before! We try to pull away but the battle at the front stays very close. On lap 3 we are passed by sidecars 77 and 6. We manage to get back past the Reeves / Wilkes pairing. Just after half distance, the rear tyre starts to lose grip. We take the chequered flag in 4th place and set the fastest race lap.
